From the team that has delivered the highly successful Mullum Music Festival and Bello Winter Music in New South Wales, comes an exciting new addition to the Victorian music festival calendar. Bendigo Autumn Music (BAM) will take place over four days in the heart of Bendigo the weekend after Easter, Thursday 25 April – Sunday 28 April 2019.
Kicking off its inaugural year on Anzac Day evening, this boutique family-friendly arts and music festival will be presented by Red Square Music, and will be a coming together of live music venues, pubs, community halls, cafes and other unique and interesting spaces to celebrate music and arts within Bendigo’s arts precinct.
BAM will offer music lovers of all persuasions an opportunity to come together and discover new music from around the globe, the country, and local region, with a commitment to program 30% local content. Artists from local communities in Bendigo and beyond, will be scouted and asked to submit applications, having the opportunity to perform alongside international headliners and national touring artists.
Festival of Jewish Arts and Music (FOJAM)
After two highly successfulShir Madness Jewish Music Festivals in Melbourne — one at Classic Cinemas and the other at Temple Beth Israel — we are thrilled to announce Shir Madness Melbourne will be moving to Melbourne Recital Centre in 2019.
Hear Them Holler have been appointed as Artistic and Festival Directors.
As well as an exciting lineup of music performances, panel discussions and installations, the festival will also present other performance mediums including contemporary dance, theatre and spoken word.
